# CrowdCue App Privacy Policy
**Effective Date: July 31, 2026**
CrowdCue is published by Portal Dragon LLC.
This policy covers the CrowdCue mobile app. It does not cover our other apps,
which have their own policies — Palm Island, for example, collects gameplay
analytics and is described separately.
---
## The short version
**CrowdCue does not collect anything.** It has no analytics, no accounts, no
advertising, and no network code of any kind. Nothing you do in the app is sent
anywhere, because the app has no way to send it.
## What CrowdCue stores on your device
Everything you make in CrowdCue is saved in the app's own private storage on your
phone:
- **Profiles** — the signals you build, and the colours, animations, brightness
and timing you set for each one
- **Images** you add to a signal
- **App settings** — your preferences for gestures, auto-start and the like
None of it leaves the device. It is stored in app-private storage, which other
apps cannot read.
Deleting a profile inside the app removes it. Uninstalling CrowdCue removes all
of it.
## Photos
If you choose an image for a signal, CrowdCue asks Android for access to that
image and copies it into its own private storage, so the signal keeps working if
the original photo is later moved or deleted.
On Android 13 and later this uses the system photo picker, which hands the app
only the single photo you selected rather than access to your library. The copy
is never uploaded anywhere.
## Motion sensors
CrowdCue reads the phone's accelerometer and gyroscope to know which way you are
holding it, and to recognise the flick gesture that switches between banks. These
readings are used as they arrive and are never recorded, stored or transmitted.
## Sharing and exporting
Exporting a profile creates a `.zip` file containing that profile and its images,
and hands it to Android's standard share sheet. Where it goes from there is
entirely your choice — email it, save it to Files, send it to a colleague.
CrowdCue does not send it anywhere on its own, and has no capability to.
Importing a profile someone sent you reads the file you select and creates a new
profile from it on your device. Nothing is reported back to us.
## What we do not do
- We do not collect personal information.
- We do not use analytics of any kind.
- We do not track your location or how you use the app.
- We do not show ads.
- We do not require an account, an email address, or a sign-in.
- We do not share or sell data, because we do not have any.
## Third parties
CrowdCue includes no advertising networks, no analytics SDKs, and no social
media integrations. The app makes no requests to any server, including ours.
## Your rights
Residents of the EU and UK have rights under the GDPR, and residents of
California have rights under the CCPA, to access, correct and delete personal
information a company holds about them.
Portal Dragon LLC holds no personal information from CrowdCue users. There is
nothing to request access to, and nothing to delete — your data is on your phone,
under your control, and removing the app removes it.
If you would like that confirmed in writing, or have any question about this
policy, email **info@portaldragon.com**.
## Children
CrowdCue is a work tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly
collect information from anyone, of any age, including children under 13.
## Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a
new effective date. Since the app collects nothing, any change would describe a
new feature rather than a new use of your information.
